The Polish Cartilage Club Symposium was a great success...

June 7 - 9, 2006, Warsaw, Poland

Hot Topics which have beed discussed: pathophysiology of the subchondral bone and cartilage; special focus was on osteochondritis dissecans, articular and bone pathologies in systemic diseases, imaging of cartilage and bone pathologies, treatment of cartilage and bone defects (osteochondral grafting, "sandwich technique"), scaffolds for cartilage and bone repair.
 
Lectures and surgical skills workshops on cartilage and bone reconstruction have be presented by individual lecturers - Mats Brittberg, Juergen Bruns, Peter Behrens, Imre Szerb, Kevin Shakesheff, Andzej Gorecki, Jacek Kruczynski, Jaroslaw Deszczynski, Krzysztof Mucha and Konrad Slynarski.
